A new service for active mobility enthusiasts

Bike lockers available for active mobility enthusiasts

The Société de transport de l’Outaouais and Ville de Gatineau are currently conducting a pilot project to gauge public interest in secure bike lockers in the city of Gatineau.

The pilot project involves installing four secure bike lockers, three of which are already in use in the Aylmer, Hull, and Gatineau areas.

Thanks to our organization’s collaboration, a fourth site has been selected in the Buckingham area. The area around the Papineau hospital on Maclaren Street was chosen because of the number of employees who work nearby and who could benefit from this service. It also gives residents living outside the Buckingham area extra incentive to bike to the bus stop.
